Freddy Martínez

Freddy founded FOREM Investments in 2013 after a 27-year career as a portfolio manager and senior advisor at Merrill Lynch and UBS. He has spent his professional life building bond portfolios and advising high-net-worth families, individuals, institutions and pension funds through every phase of the market cycle.
Before launching FOREM, he served as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at UBS for seven years, and as First Vice President — Investments at Merrill Lynch for nineteen years.

Michele Di Carlo
Portfolio Manager · Investment Adviser Representative
Michele leads portfolio construction for FOREM clients across the United States and Latin America. His work combines fundamental credit analysis with quantitative methods for individual bond selection and equity screening, and linear-programming optimization for portfolio construction.
His work spans the full investment cycle: from the initial wealth diagnostic and proposal design, through execution and coordination with custodians such as J.P. Morgan, UBS, BNY Mellon, RBC and Interactive Brokers, to ongoing portfolio monitoring.

Bernardo Pérez
Business Strategy Advisor
Bernardo brings to FOREM more than five decades of operating and advisory experience across capital markets and corporate strategy. He was a registered investment adviser for 25 years, led a brokerage house for three decades and previously served as a senior manager at McKinsey & Co.
His consulting practice has spanned strategy, finance and operations for clients in banking, brewing, automotive, oil and gas, petrochemicals, food, pulp and paper, and cement, among others.
